KidZania Mumbai hosts ‘Azadi ke Rang’ celebration with deputy speaker Annasaheb Bansode

KidZania Mumbai continued its extended Independence Day festivities with a vibrant celebration titled ‘Azadi ke Rang’ on August 20. The special evening was graced by deputy speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Annasaheb Bansode, who spent time with children and families at the interactive city.

The evening began with a felicitation ceremony at the entry gate, followed by a guided tour where the Deputy Speaker actively participated in KidZania’s role-play activities. He explored sustainable township design at the Mahindra Lifespaces establishment, tried hands-on bike designing at the TVS Racing Experience Centre, co-created treats with kids at Kinder Joy, and even joined young firefighters at the Fire Station, learning teamwork and safety.

At the KidZania Theatre, Shri Bansode delivered an inspiring address, urging children to “dream big, focus on education, and believe in themselves.” During an interactive Q&A, he responded to children’s thoughtful queries, leaving the young audience motivated and encouraged.

The celebrations also featured a cultural dance performance by children, highlighting freedom and creativity. On stage, Bansode was felicitated by Yazdi Khambatta, COO, and Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, CBO of KidZania India.

“Children are the true colours of our nation’s freedom. Opportunities like these allow them to learn, explore, and dream without limits,” Bansode said, appreciating KidZania’s efforts.

Adding to the occasion, Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, CBO – KidZania India, remarked, This celebration was about giving children a space to express themselves freely and creatively. We are honoured by the presence of Annasaheb Bansode Ji, whose encouragement made the evening even more special.”

The Azadi ke Rang’ celebration created lasting memories for children and families, bringing alive the spirit of Independence through fun, learning, and creativity at KidZania Mumbai.
