Excerpts:

Can you tell us the story behind Paradise Group — how it began and what inspired you to start this journey in real estate?

Paradise Group’s journey began over three decades ago with a simple belief — that a home is not just a structure, but a place where emotions live. In 1985, my father, Madhu Bathija, entered the real estate industry, and in 1990, he founded Paradise Group with the dream of creating homes that symbolise trust, happiness, and belonging. I joined the organisation at a young age, which gave me the chance to understand the ground realities of real estate and the evolving aspirations of customers. What truly inspired us was the opportunity to shape lifestyles in the growing city of Navi Mumbai. We never aimed to just build buildings; we focused on creating communities where people can make memories, celebrate life, and feel proud to call home.

Paradise Group has grown significantly over the years; what have been the key milestones that you are most proud of?

What truly defines our journey is the trust of over 25,000 happy residents who proudly call Paradise home. Along the way, we have delivered 125 plus successful projects, earned 100 plus prestigious awards, and expanded strongly across Navi Mumbai and the MMR. Milestones like Sai Pride marked our bold entry into luxury housing, while Sai Mannat changed the game by introducing resort-style living. This vision grew into our theme-based landmarks — Sai World City, inspired by iconic global cities, and Sai World Empire, inspired by the grandeur of kings and queens. Today, Paradise Group stands as a respected, award-winning brand, driven by honesty, quality, and care.

With a team of 650 plus employees, how do you ensure a strong work culture and motivate your staff to achieve excellence consistently?

At Paradise Group, every decision is guided by trust, hard work, and the collective strength of our people. Our culture is built on integrity, transparency, and leadership by example, where every employee is a valued member of the Paradise Parivaar. We encourage open dialogue, shared ownership, and accountability. When people feel trusted, supported, and united by a common vision, it creates a powerful foundation that drives excellence and long-term growth.

You have handled projects ranging from Rs 43 lakhs to Rs 25 crores — how do you maintain quality and customer satisfaction across such diverse project scales?

At Paradise Group, price never defines quality — dreams do. From homes priced at Rs 43 lakhs to residences worth Rs 25 crores, our commitment to quality, design, and customer satisfaction remains the same. Uniform construction standards, strict quality benchmarks, in-house material testing, strong contracts, and experienced teams ensure luxury-level finishes and reliability across all segments. Every Paradise homeowner receives the same quality, pride, and long-term value.

What sets Paradise Group’s projects apart from competitors in Navi Mumbai’s highly competitive real estate market?

Our strength lies in theme-based developments, lifestyle planning, and timely delivery. We design projects that go beyond four walls — with well-planned amenities, open spaces, and strategic locations. Above all, Paradise Group stands for credibility. When customers invest in Paradise, they invest in peace of mind.

How do you personally manage multiple responsibilities without losing strategic focus?

I stay anchored to our vision, values, and people. When leadership is built on trust and empowerment, decision-making becomes clearer and growth becomes meaningful. Shared responsibility allows me to focus on long-term goals while the organisation moves forward together.

Which Paradise Group project has been the most challenging so far?

Every project presents unique challenges. We treat obstacles as opportunities to showcase resilience, teamwork, and innovation. Challenges are never setbacks; they are moments where commitment and collective strength shine the brightest.

Where do you see Paradise Group in the next 5–10 years?

Paradise Group aims to redefine real estate in MMR through large-scale, sustainable, theme-based townships. With enhanced connectivity and the Navi Mumbai International Airport now operational, the region holds immense potential. Upcoming projects such as Sai World One, Sai Palm View, and Sai World Pyramid, along with a strategic IPO, will accelerate growth while strengthening trust and governance.

How important are company events and celebrations in building team spirit?

Celebrations like Ganeshotsav, Foundation Day, Diwali, Navratri, and Holi unite the Paradise Parivaar. These moments strengthen bonds, foster unity, and remind us that success is always shared.

What message would you like to share with young entrepreneurs and aspiring leaders?

Success takes time. Stay patient, ethical, and focused on creating real value. Build strong teams, keep learning, and never forget your roots. The most rewarding success is creating a positive impact on people’s lives.
