Reinforcing the importance of value-based education rooted in Indian culture, Padma Shri Parshuram Gangavane inaugurated the newly built Vishwanath Auditorium at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai on Wednesday, Feb 11.
Calling MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul a unique institution that blends modern education with Indian knowledge traditions, Gangavane said that schools today must go beyond academic excellence and nurture culture, spirituality and social responsibility among students.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted under the blessings of Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder President of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions, and Mrs. Usha Vishwanath Karad. The event was led by Padma Shri Parshuram Gangavane and Prof. Swati Karad Chate, Trustee and Secretary General of MAEER’s MIT.
