The 9th edition of the BANM Raigad Property Expo was inaugurated with much enthusiasm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, drawing strong footfalls on its opening day. Organised by CREDAI BANM Raigad, the expo brought together leading developers and homebuyers on a common platform, reinforcing confidence in the region’s real estate market.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mahendra Gharat and Vikrant Patil, who appreciated the efforts taken by CREDAI BANM members in organising a well-structured and buyer-friendly property exhibition. Mahendra Gharat said the expo had been thoughtfully arranged and would help homebuyers make informed decisions, while also supporting the growth of the real estate sector.
Vikrant Patil described the BANM Raigad Property Expo as one of the best real estate exhibitions in the region and encouraged people to visit the expo to explore a wide range of housing options for purchasing their dream homes.
Adding star appeal to the event, actor and brand ambassador Shilpa Shetty praised the expo and Navi Mumbai’s growing real estate potential. Sharing a personal experience, she said that she had owned a home in CBD Belapur for nearly 20 years, but selling it later turned out to be a mistake — a remark that resonated strongly with the audience and highlighted the long-term value of property investment in the region.
CREDAI BANM Raigad President Jeetu Jagwani expressed satisfaction over the encouraging first-day response, stating that the strong footfalls reflected renewed buyer confidence. He added that the expo aims to provide transparency, genuine options, and direct interaction between builders and customers.
Secretary and Convener Harnish Karia, along with other conveners, also appreciated the collective efforts of the managing and exhibition committees, noting that the event has been curated keeping end-users in mind.
